The 988 Lifeline is also available for adults and caregivers experiencing problems or who are concerned about a loved one who may need crisis support. 988 provides 24/7 access to trained counselors who can help anyone experiencing thoughts of suicide, mental health or substance-use crisis, or any other kind of emotional distress.
